Earth Day Lubbock
Earth Day Lubbock is a “community organization trying to introduce a variety of Earth Day events to the Lubbock community.” As a group project, this was an opportunity for us to brand and market Lubbock Earth Day Festival 2021. Hand-painted illustrations of subjects relating to Lubbock and Earth Day were incorporated with the logo. Eye-catching colors and bold typography were chosen to draw attention to the event as well as break the norm from what might be typical Earth Day branding (green and blue). The solution is meant to get people excited for Earth Day.
Hand-painted elements were combined with bold typography to express excitement and movement.
Incorporated the logo with the movement of a bicycle. Moving forward in a positive direction for the Earth.
Logo as the spur of the boot for West Texas flavor.
Windmill points to positive clean-energy as well as West Texas.
Tote bag to promote reduction of plastic waste.
